Add additional sterilization capabilities to your small scope cabinet with the purchase of an LED ultraviolet lighting strip. Ultraviolet (UV) light has been shown to aid in disinfection when used in wavelengths between 240 to 280 nanometers (this lighting upgrade operates at 270 nonometers). Scientists have discovered that pathogens exposed to UV light in these spectrums incur cell damage, limiting their reproduction and rendering them harmless. When used in conjunction with a drying package, cleaned scopes will go through the most effective reprocessing available to prevent the buildup of biofilm and to sterilize pathogens. This LED strip is affixed to the rear of your cabinet and runs most of the cabinet width, providing UV light-based decontamination to the cabinet interior. Included is an adjustable timer which can be programmed to operate with your selected duration and which automatically triggers the light on when the cabinet door is closed. This upgrade is factory install only.
This LED sterilization upgrade is designed for all SCW model wall mounted small scope cabinets made by Harloff. It provides ultraviolet light at 270 nanometers, a spectrum of light radiation that has been shown to damage the cells of microorganisms including water pathogens. This LED strip is installed in the back of your scope cabinet and comes with a front-mounted adjustable timer that triggers the UV lighting on when the cabinet door is closed.
